I just bought some because its pretty much redfish season and i saw some people on the tv fishing with it. The only problem is i cant rig it right.

Ok so i am planing to go catfishing with my potential girlfriend one night soon, i have never had a lot of success fishing in fresh water fishing (more of a saltwater fisherman). I recently went with to my friends lake house and we caught tons of catfish on a boat. I NEED TIPS ON WHAT RIGS TO USE AND WHAT BAIT! some one plz help! i need to impress this girl also hah:) SO any help is much apreciated"!

Heading to the everglades for the first time in a week and a half. Will have a 4000 spinner with braid on a 6′6" mh rod. Will be fishing from a canoe, and although the water is brackish, I’ve never fished sweetwater. Leader required? Plan on throwing light plastics with or without 1/4oz ball jigs. Also…have a ton of smaller saltwater plugs that work on stripers and blues, any suggestions on what to bring
