i want a boat to go saltwater fishing
i will be fishing in the cape cod/ boston area for cod and whatever els i can get

the ross is rated for 12-25 lb line… im rigging it with 17lb. it also is extremely fast action and says medium on it……im wondering if i can take it out on a local boat or to catalina island to fish kelp and sand bass and possibly a few barracuda… ideas?
grand bass master- i have an Okuma halogen 400 baitcaster reel with 17lb xtra tough P-line. what you think?
